Canadian-American Junior Hockey League
Mission Statement
The Canadian-American Junior Hockey League (CAJHL) was based on the foundation that an alternative Junior A hockey program could be developed that focused on providing players with an opportunity to play at a high calibre while seeking educational opportunities as well as other hockey options.
We believe education, community involvement, and hockey are fundamental to building a strong program. Welcoming local and international players, the teams are made up of a diverse group of people. We believe in an inclusive environment where players are allowed to freely express who they are, their own opinions and points of view and to enjoy the sport of hockey.
We believe in core values such as sportsmanship, respect for individuals, loyalty, and teamwork with an emphasis on honesty, integrity and fair play. We will provide a safe and rewarding experience to all participants.
Our teams will be well coached, focusing on skill and character development and mentoring them with the tools they need to achieve the next level no matter what that level may be.
The CAJHL team’s ownership are hockey minded individuals that believe an alternative Junior A program based on skill development will help our athletes achieve their goals. The Directors of the CAJHL share this vision and will build the league through a methodical approach ensuring ownership groups possess these attributes.
